She loves it and since yesterday has spent hours looking at the pictures. I started without this book with my daughter and it's been really hard.
The rhymes are great and they keep the whole topic light and upbeat. I love this book.
I used the boy version of the book with my son and he was potty trained very easily. The illustrations also make the child look very excited, like it's a very positive thing to learn to use the potty.
You couldn't ask for a better book for potty training. I remembered this book yesterday and bought the girl version for her.
I have a feeling potty training is going to be easier now.
Terrible. The book to way too long to arrive. I missed the child's birthday due to late arrival. The Potty Book - For Girls
We also continued to read it after potty training was underway. get her comfortable with the idea. I bought this book to prep my daughter for potty training. She likes for me to read it to her while she sits on the potty. We read it for about a month before the big day. She loves this book. Great book that did exactly what it was supposed to do. I recommend it.
Like other potty books, this book begins by introducing the main character and then going into the potty steps in a friendly, easy to understand way for kids. I do recommend this book, it isn't going to magically make your child learn to use the potty, but reading it frequently to your kid will help him/her remember what to do when they feel the need to go potty.
Even though it did not outline the method of potty training that we used, I realize that is not the purpose of this book. My daughter received this book as a gift before we were even thinking about potty training. The best part about this book is two-fold; it is a cute little story and it was a nice way to get the idea of potty training in my daughter's head. My daughter has been potty trained for about 6 months now and she still loves to have this book read to her. I didn't hurt that my daughter's name is Hannah, the same as the little girl in the book.
